It has been my honor to serve as your representative on the San Leandro City Council since 2005. Today I am asking for your support as Mayor.

Our city faces unique and difficult challenges. The economy and the worst budget crisis in decades are taking a toll on San Leandro. There's less money for parks and libraries, less money for schools; even our 911 emergency response, police and fire services are threatened.

I firmly believe that today's challenges call for fresh, positive, and energetic leadership. For the past 6 months I have walked every neighborhood in San Leandro. I've talked to voters and listened to ideas on how to improve our community. Everyone wants the same things. A safe community, more economic opportunities, better shopping and improved schools. I'll be the Mayor to make you proud.

I have received the support of the San Leandro police officers and I'd love to have your support.

Working together to get it done, we'll make San Leandro a place we're proud to call Home.
